Four years ago on 04 April 2020, the commercial operation (COD) of Unit 2 of Khargone was announced and NTPC Khargone got the status of the station. Keeping this in view, Khargone STPS celebrated its foundation day on 04th April. NTPC Khargone started its journey back then and is continuously moving towards the climax of our achievements.

To commemorate our journey we celebrate the 04th of April as NTPC Khargone’s Raising Day every year. A ceremony was held on the premises of the Administrative building. All the senior dignitaries were present along with the members of Ahilya Mahila Mandal to celebrate the achievements of NTPC Khargone and pave the way for the upcoming year. The program commences with the unfurling of the NTPC flag followed by the NTPC geet. Our respected Shri Subhasis Bose, BUH, Khargone, in his speech, mentioned the achievements of NTPC Khargone and congratulated the employees for each one's efforts in the success of the station. The program was followed by the release of balloons and a cake-cutting ceremony by BUH Khargone along with Shri V. Mohan, GM (O&M), Shri A. S. Yadav, GM (FM & Mnt.), and other senior dignitaries and senior members of Ahilya Mahila Mandal. The program was concluded by hi-tea.

The day will be further celebrated with a musical evening.
